Who's cool ?
What do you guys think is considered 'cool'? Honestly, i don't think 'cool' is being rebellious, or swearing excessively, going to rock band concerts or drinking and clubbing. Doing things that your peers think is cool, does not make you so. Well, of course unless those are things that you really enjoy doing.
The bottom line is this:
It's about having the confidence to be yourself and not succumbing to peer pressure.
For example, Justin Bieber. Almost everybody dislikes this singer. Once the song 'Baby' starts playing on the radio, a chorus of 'EWWWWWW' can be heard. So if YOU, just so happen to LOVE his work, would you jump onto the bandwagon too, or stand up for your own taste in music and risk being laughed at?
So, based on that, geeks such as Bill gates, obese individuals such as Gabriel Iglesias, not pleasant looking people such as Xiaxue, can be cool too despite having traits that are usually being looked down upon. Simply because they have the confidence to express themselves and be comfortable with who they are.

However, there is this special case, whereby an extremely confident individual doesn't get his name into my cool-book. Have you guys ever met someone who displays confidence as a self-defence mechanism ? Going around trampling on people whom they think is weak. That is not cool at all. I rather have someone that stands up for his own opinions, and not thrash people for personal benefits.
