"I bought groceries for the family this week, cooked your favorite dish, sent you to work", and a bunch of other things.

Well, he has taken activism for love. When the issue of, 'You don't love me anymore' is brought up to the table, the accuser hasn't overlooked the nice deeds you've done. She's just questioning your ignorance.
